Technical Conservation Team

About the team

The Technical Conservation team provides leadership in the sector in championing knowledge, skills, and materials as being key to sustaining Scotland’s Cultural Heritage Assets.

This team leads in expanding our collective knowledge and expertise through research and applied projects that can set standards and provide learning outcomes. We embrace the opportunities provided by the digital age and knowing that our skills and traditions have their roots in Innovation to solve problems, a practice that it is role to perpetuate.

Technical Conservation enables better stewardship through sharing our knowledge, skills and expertise through training, education, outreach and engagement, and through learning from others.
