Our teams

We are home to a range of Historic Environment Scotland teams who support the heritage sector across Scotland.

We strive to protect and promote Scotland’s historic environment for current and future generations to enjoy. Our teams make a real difference to how well we manage to preserve the nation’s most precious assets.

Technical Education and Training

The Technical Education and Training team delivers a dynamic programme of conservation-related activity. They share knowledge, skills and expertise through research, training and qualifications.

Technical Conservation Team

The Digital Documentation and Innovation team documents our heritage in 3D with cutting-edge technologies. They use this data in new and innovative ways.
