Come along during the holidays to learn about how scientists use thermal cameras to find issues in historic buildings by looking at temperature.
Using thermal cameras, they can see things they would not be able to see with their own eyes. They can spot problems like cold drafts and dampness in stones. This helps them plan how to best repair traditional buildings and make them more energy efficient.
At our free event, become a Thermal Detective by using a thermal camera to see if you can spot the differences in temperature here at the Engine Shed! Once you have had a look, create your own thermal image using marbling inks and paper.
