Event Description

Have you resigned yourself to living in a damp house? Issues of damp are by no means normal in older buildings, and there are many things that you can do to help with this problem.

In this free livestream Inform Friday session, our experts will talk about solutions to damp to help you understand more about your older building.

Damp issues can often indicate that something isn't quite right with the building fabric. This could be connected to the gutters and drainpipe, the roof or even the makeup of the walls. That's why it's very important to investigate these issues. During this session, we will look at possible reasons for damp and what you can do about them.

To submit a question in advance, please email technicalresearch@hes.scot. If you’re looking for repair advice, try to include some photos of your problem.
