Copper Creations

Monday 2 April 2018 to Friday 6 April 2018

Engine Shed

Event Description

Metal can be spotted at lots of different buildings; from fireplaces in houses, to railings outside shops and to canons at castles!

During this activity, participants will learn about the use of copper in buildings and through using a traditional metalworking technique, where by a stencil is carved from wood and copper is pressed into this. They will create their very own copper creation!

An artefact of the future!

Please note: Drop in Session. Activity suitable for 12+. Parental/guardian supervision is required for the duration of the activity.
